Daniel Tate aka The Flyer Vault

In the mid 1990s our next guest was criss-crossing all over the Greater Toronto Area helping to promote hip hop and R&B concerts.

After collecting thousands of posters, flyers, t-shirts, stickers and buttons he decided to share his treasures with the world.

So in 2015 he began scanning and uploading these to the Instagram account, @TheFlyerVault Today, @TheFlyerVault has over 11,500 followers.

Earlier this year, Dundurn published the book, “The Flyer Vault: 150 Years of Toronto Concert History.” written by Rob Bowman and our next guest, Daniel Tate.

Eric Shenkman

You see, one of my earliest interactions with Gregg Tilston was being interviewed by him for a job with Flight Centre. After I turned him down I told him one of my goals was to have him as a client. And while it didn’t happen while he was with Flight Centre he did sponsor an event I led: MusicConnectTO.

And today’s guest actually performed at that event as Late July. My next guest has been writing songs and performing for well over a decade. She is also the founder of the charity, Redemption Paws that has rescued hundreds and hundreds of dogs from the ravages of climate change and hurricanes.
